William H. Eckenrode, 57, of the Rhodes Mill to Fairfield road, died at Annie Warner Hospital Gettysburg from burns suffered when his house and outbuildings burned weeks earlier. Known as Bilge, he returned from Emmitsburg to find a wet kitchen stove fire. he added kerosene and the stove exploded. He died after complications. Survived by brother Bernard J. Eckenrode of near Emmitsburg. Funeral at St Joseph's Emmitsburg at 9 this morning, Rev Piper officiating. interment in church cemetery.

Frazier Lemke Act Found Unconstitutional in Ruling
York Pennsylvania January 19 The Frazier Lemke amendment to the bankruptcy act is held unconstitutional in an opinion by William Burg Anstine Federal Conciliation Commissioner Anstine dismissed a restraining order against selling the farm of Adam Henry Lehman and upheld Charles E Strickler creditor that the amendment deprives a man of his property without due process of law.

C A S Annual Meeting Held in Baltimore
A Frederick County delegation of about seventy five from the Frederick County Children's Aid Society attended the Maryland Children's Aid Society annual meeting in Alumnae Hall Goucher College Baltimore. Prizes for largest delegation and best publicity went to Frederick County with a special Blue Ridge bus and thirteen private cars. The meeting featured Owen Lovejoy of New York as principal speaker and included reports by Katherine T. Kirwan and Douglass Gorman.
