A second writ was issued by Magistrate Alton Y. Bennett after a continued hearing on an assault and robbery plan involving Charles Juggy Thompson and John Schley. Thompson pleaded guilty to assault and battery. Schley was held on a $250 bond awaiting Friday hearing.

Adult Classes To Be Offered At Frederick High School
The Board of Education will offer adult education in wood working and art metal work at Frederick High School for a third year. Registrations are Friday at 6:30 in the high school basement classroom. Stephen K. Mester will teach, with three hours of instruction on Monday Tuesday and Thursday evenings until semester end. Last year about 66 men and women enrolled, and similar numbers are expected. Classes are scheduled so each student spends one evening weekly in class. A few 1950 repeaters are anticipated, notably in wood working where projects were completed last year.
