Stand for the Grout Bill in Harrisburg Meeting
Pennsylvania farmers and dairy leaders met in Harrisburg to oppose a repeal of the Grout bill taxing colored eloomarga rine 10 cents a pound. Governor Penny packer, United States Senators mroce and linos, and other officials spoke against repeal. The governor praised cooperation with farmers and dairymen to defend the act. Senator Penpose referenced the bill’s passage and warned of its national importance.
