YMCA Swim Marathon slated for January 20
The 3rd annual YMCA Swim Marathon will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday January 20 at the Frederick County YMCA on North Market Street near Thomas Johnson High School. Proceeds fund youth programs and scholarships, with blue ribbons for all and patches or trophies for donors meeting pledge levels. Local sponsors donate prizes including a television and watches. Rules require sponsorship backing, nonstop lengths of 25 yards, any stroke, no aids, and pledge collection responsibility.
