Barbara Kerns Weds Curtis W Eyler at Thurmont Church

Barbara Ann Kerns daughter of Mrs Betty Ann Kerns and James V Kolb of Thurmont married Curtis W Eyler son of Mr and Mrs Earl C Eyler of Lantz on December 17 at St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Thurmont. The double ring ceremony was led by Ministers Beth and Randy Neubauer with Tommy Miller providing wedding music.

Griffith Rice marriage vows exchanged in Dec. ceremony

Music by Richard Thorton and Carolyn Jones. Reception at Holy Trinity Church Sharpsburg. The bride a Boonsboro High School graduate works at LondonTown Manufacturing Co Boonsboro. The groom a Frederick High School graduate is with Marriott Corp Gaithersburg. They reside in a mobile home near Boonsboro.

Women Work Harder Says Michigan Study

A University of Michigan report cited by Family Circle on February 3 says working women take 35 minutes daily for coffee breaks while men average 52 minutes. At home these women also spend about 25 hours weekly on chores versus 10 hours by men.
