Graham Dies For 44 Killed Aboard Plane
CANON CITY COLORADO JAN. Joby Gilbert Graham was executed tonight in Colorado's gas chamber for the dynamite murder of his mother Mrs. Daisie King and 43 other United Air Lines passengers when a bomber exploded over Longmont. Graham, calm and composed, wore only white shorts and slippers removed upon entering the chamber. The warden supervised as the cyanide gas was released at 7:56 p.m. He confessed to placing the bomb in his mother's luggage and faced the law after a lengthy trial. His last meal consisted of steak, salad, fruit cocktail and ice cream. He had been in prison since May 15 and spoke of meeting his Maker.
