In Houston at Baptist Memorial Hospital a 34 year old woman gave birth by Caesarean to a seven pound boy while under post hypnotic suggestion that she would feel no pain. About 150 doctors and medical students watched via closed circuit television. The surgeon said it may be the first case of awakening after hypnosis during surgery.
