Mount Etna eruption fears after Sicilian quake
After a great earthquake shattered Messina Reggio and other Sicilian and Calabrian towns residents fled Catani and Taormina fearing Mount Etna would erupt. All volcanoes in the quake zone showed activity but Stromboli in the Lipari Islands did the most damage.

A double barreled shotgun was found with one barrel empty and investigators suspect it was used.
