Dobson on time with kids and quality over quantity
Dr Dobson argues the time children receive matters as much as, or more than, the amount. He cites family cases of recovered marriages, warns against using quantity quality as a disguise for neglect, and urges steadfast support to preserve what is precious.

The Monocacy Church beginnings by Nancy Geasey
The Monocacy Church dates from 1742 to 1754 with few documents and diary mentions. German settlers from Pennsylvania formed a church area in back country Prince George's County near the Monocacy. Pastor John Casper Stoever conducted services in the 1730s and 1734 to 1736 baptisms. early records show his itinerant ministry as the community formed worship ties before Frederick County and modern papers existed.

Monocacy Lutheran Church Origins in Frederick County
Early church life started in homes and barns before a formal building. The first German church in Frederick County appeared as a temporary log structure with the 1742 Monocacy site marking the earliest official records. Key figures include Rev. Stoever, Pastor Candler, Naesmann, Schlatter, and Muhlenberg, with Moravian influence and a split among Lutherans.
