Local blood donor plan urged for Frederick County
Mrs. Paul Willard, chairman of the Frederick Red Cross chapter, called for broader participation in the local blood donor program at a Wednesday Rotary luncheon. She noted nearly 600 residents are ready to donate, with the program supplying plasma and red blood cells for emergencies and military needs. A film explained bloodmobile operations, lab methods, and the life saving role of plasma, while Rotary officials and guests endorsed continued community support and fundraising for local health groups.
