Bastrop La Jan 10 Addie Mar Hamilton known as the daughter of the Klan testified at the open hearing into the slaying of Watt Daniels and Thomas Richards. She said she was forced to leave her Mer Rouge home and deported from the state by the Ku Klux Klan. She identified former Mer Rouge mayor McKean and Pink Kirkpatrick as two men who helped. She described men entering her sister’s home one night, seizing her, and forcing her onto a train to Little Rock Arkansas. The witness said her mother urged negotiation, but McKean and others pressured her to leave town.
