McCarrick Addresses Sunrise Sertoma on Waste to Heat
Ron McCarrick spoke at Bettys Restaurant to the Sunrise Sertoma Club on conserving energy by converting solid waste into heat and energy. YMCA Awarded National Certificate of Achievement
The Frederick County YMCA earned a National Certificate of Achievement for its health and physical education program serving 3200 people in Frederick and Frederick County. The award allows regulation of amateur athletes in regional and national YMCA events, with Mrs. Page Laughlin praising the department and presenting the certificate to Bob Tansey.
