From Rockville to jail for auto theft in Montgomery County
Benjamin Harper a Beallsville resident colored was taken from Frederick County jail to Rockville on charges of authorized use of an automobile. Capt Charles W Magaha and Sergt Richard Stalinas of Barracks B near Urbana on Route 240 apprehended him about 2 am after Montgomery County Police informed the car he drove had been stolen. He was not charged locally and was held for transfer to the jurisdiction where the offense occurred.
