Stolen items include a shotgun, six cartons of cigarettes and $8. Additional thefts at West End Laundry and Firestone Home and Auto Supply were reported with minor loot and damage.
U S planes attacked North Vietnamese radar sites twice on Wednesday, with B52 bombers dropping nearly 300 tons in the DMZ sector in the heaviest strike there. An F105 Wild Weasel is believed to have destroyed a radar site 45 miles north of the DMZ, and a second Wild Weasel attack followed on a radar station 64 miles southwest of Hanoi and 22 miles east of the Laotian border.
A 22 year old Frederick man received probation without verdict for one year for assaulting and beating Officer Gerry Ponton at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a motor vehicle accident. Other actions include Remsburg found not guilty on tags, driving while revoked continued, Grams case continued, and Percell granted probation without verdict for a $60 bed check.
