Mediators Chosen In Montgomery Impasse
In Rockville two candidates Morris Jones and Dr Edward Andrews were named to form a three man mediation panel with a third impartial member to be selected. The panel aims to break an impasse in salary hours and working conditions in Montgomery County education negotiations. If they cannot agree, the American Arbitration Association will name the third mediator. The impasse follows the December 31 deadline and mirrors last year’s stalemate that was resolved after six sessions. The budget waits on ratification.
