Parking deck construction to begin in Frederick city
The Carroll Creek parking deck south of East Patrick Street in downtown Frederick starts Monday. Bab Menon, city permits director, says the $3.3 million five story deck will rise on a former parking lot between the C Burr Artz Library and South Market Street. Motorists may use the Optimists lot near Greyhound and a gravel lot near Citizens Way. If all goes well, the deck could open by next Christmas. For questions contact City Hall at 694 1469.
