Internists spend more time with patients than GP study says

A U S study of nearly 1000 physicians shows internists spend about 18 minutes per patient versus 13 minutes for general practitioners. Internists also order more tests and X rays, raising costs though not declaring one group superior in care.

Fairfax City shooting leaves two dead and one critical

Fairfax City police investigate a Tuesday night apartment shooting at 3195 Lynhurst Drive that killed Frederick Burhans Jr. and William Sitko and left David Keiser in critical condition. Witnesses say an argument occurred after Sitko and Burhans entered the second floor apartment. seven shots were fired. Authorities describe possible motives as bad blood over Keiser dating Sitko's estranged wife. No charges filed yet.
