Chesapeake Bay Authority Proposed by Maryland and Virginia
A joint commission from Maryland and Virginia recommends forming a Chesapeake Bay authority with full powers to manage fishing and crabbing in the bay and its tributaries and rehabilitate oyster production in the Potomac River.
