Mirant pledges lighter Dickerson plant impact plan
Mirant and Avante officials told Montgomery County council they will add two natural gas fired turbines and auxiliary steam generators to expand the Dickerson plant to about 1,000 megawatts while pursuing state of the art emission controls.
