Myersville Man Appointed Assistant To Supervisor Of County School Buses
John F. Horine of RFD 2 Myersville is named assistant transportation supervisor for the county school system. A Middletown native, he taught physical education and driver education at Middletown and Emmitsburg High Schools and worked as an elementary P E teacher at Camp Greentop. Horine, married to Joann Tomlinson with two children Kimberly and Scott, is pursuing a master’s degree at Frostburg State Teachers College. He will serve under Bennie C. Hartmann, appointed supervisor after Paul L. Hoffmaster’s retirement. Hartmann, born in New York Mills Minnesota, holds an degrees in health and physical education and is advancing toward a master's in administration at Western Maryland College.
