Tractor-trailer crashes clog I-70 and US 15 in Md
Two tractor-trailer crashes tied up traffic in the morning. Lawrence Green, 36, of Harrington Del., remained in Suburban Hospital Bethesda after his rig overturned on I-70 near Braddock Mountain while lumber spilled across the road. A black coil fell from a prior rig, causing Green to swerve and overturn. A helicopter assisted transport to the hospital and one lane was closed briefly. A second crash on US 15 near Jefferson stopped traffic about 15 minutes as crews cleared the scene.
