Quick storm dumps 3.6 inches across region
A fast moving storm described as a quick hitter by the National Weather Service dumped 3 to 6 inches of snow across the region. The blast began Thursday morning, causing numerous highway closures and traffic crashes that left at least one person dead in multiple states including Maryland Virginia New Jersey Pennsylvania North Carolina and West Virginia.

Snow plow finds man dead in vehicle in county
A 29 year old Monrovia man was found dead in his sport utility vehicle by a snow plow driver clearing roads. Deputies from the core County Sheriff's Office identified the scene and noted they do not know when the wreck occurred. A State Posse helicopter was summoned to assist.

Myersville Woman Killed In Wet Head On Collision
A Myersville woman died after a snow slick head on crash on U S 40 near Ridge Road Thursday around 3 p m. Robert Bennett 40 of Hagerstown driver of a 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo lost control crossing the center line and struck a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by June Mane Shewbridge 52 of Myersville. Shewbridge died at Frederick Memorial Hospital while Bennett was treated at Washington County Hospital in fair condition. Both drivers wore seat belts and were the only occupants of their vehicles.

Convicted Mom Left Children Alone in New Jersey
