Tonight shows a 30 percent shower risk across Western Maryland from Carroll to Washington counties with colder air overnight. Wednesday brings mostly sunny, colder conditions with highs near 40. Maryland mountains stay much colder with scattered snow flurries and highs around 30.
Guthrie County farmer Dean Flannery matched seven numbers to win the $3 million Lotto America jackpot. A 26 year old Jamaican man Clive Anthony James is charged with first degree murder in the Feb 18 fatal shooting of Morgan Eddie Clinkscales, 20, at a Silver Spring apartment. James and Ivy Denise Williams, 22, were nabbed after surveillance at a Silver Spring Quality Inn. Williams faces a drug possession warrant. Police seek a second suspect. James held without bond.

Donald Keeney Jr. 24 of Mountainview Road Emmitsburg was charged with driving while intoxicated after his car crossed the center line veered off the road struck a utility pole and a wooden fence before resting on its left side in a field. He was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital and released.
