Long-Time City Employee Mrs. Nicodemus Dies at 63
Mrs. C Marion Nicodemus longtime city employee died Friday night at University Hospital Baltimore after a lengthy illness. She began city service in 1927 as secretary to Mayor Culler and later served under Mayors Munshower Gittinger and Rice. Survived by husband Aubrey A Nicodemus and a daughter, funeral Tuesday at 11 am. Memorial contributions to Cancer Fund.

Taneytown Expands Industrial Site Near Rail Line
The Taneytown Chamber of Commerce plans to enlarge its industrial tract by purchasing six plus acres from the G Motter Cunningham estate. The new land adds a 300 foot frontage on Feeser road bringing the site to about 14 acres.
