Maryland Moves To Require Campus Crime Reporting
Region Derr pushes reporting of college crime as Maryland lawmakers consider a bill to compel colleges to publish crime statistics and security policies. The measure would require annual campus security reports by Aug. 31, detailing housing, enforcement, firearms procedures, communications, and security responsibilities. companion bills exist in the House. hearing slated for March 1.
