Convicted Of Driving On Revoked License
A Fort Benning soldier, Private First Class Roy Ricketts formerly of Bethesda, was convicted for driving a motor vehicle after his license had been revoked. Magistrate Stanley Y Bennett suspended a $100 fine, noting Ricketts was more valuable at Fort Benning than Frederck County Jail. Trooper Stephen P Riland arrested him on Route 349. the revoke occurred in 1960.
