Mrs Miller, injured in a January automobile crash near Nancy, France, is transferred to Walter Reed for convalescence and wards are limited to family visits. Hot Rodder killed Crashing Tombstones
In a Bronx cemetery, a stripped down car driven by two young hot rodders crashed into a row of tombstones. One youth, 11-year-old James Navan of Sterling Conn, was found dead. The other, 17-year-old William Schroeder of the Bronx, was critically injured. Police say the teens were testing their car on St Raymond's Cemetery road when control was lost.

Man and Wife Hurt in U S 15 Car Crash Near Buckeystown
A southbound car driven by Elizabeth Deston of Adamstown struck a bridge abutment on U S 15 two miles south of Buckeystown near Lily Pons Road injuring Roy and Devton Deston. Both were taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital by Carroll Manor Fire Company. Trooper H J Brown, the investigating officer, reported no charges yet. The February grand jury was nearing the end of a three day session with indictments expected and witnesses remaining.
