Linganore dispute ends with major equity suit dropped
In Frederick County Circuit Court, LUPO member W W Corbin and the Lake Linganore United Property Owners dropped the equity suit against the Lake Linganore Association Board of Directors in exchange for the board dropping its $2 million countersuit against LUPO. The two sides agreed to dismiss the third party defendant, amid a cooling of tensions and discussions toward settlement. Judge Samuel W. Barrick praised the development as a path to resolving the long-running dispute.
