Slayer Of Three Deputies Sought By Texas Police
A 33 year old ex convict is sought after fatally shooting three deputies and wounding another. Deputies Infante Robertson Reese were slain after being seized during a burglary inquiry and taken to the Trinity River bottoms where gunfire followed. A fourth deputy Dover was shot and listed as in fair condition. An escapee, A D McCurley, provided the sequence of events and described the captors as two gunmen with one partner who left before the shootings. Authorities described the killings as needless and fan execution with the primary suspect identified as Rene Adolpho Guzman.
