In Kittanning Pennsylvania on February 1 18 year old Mrs Sue Rossier was found unconscious in snow in front of Mohawk mine powerhouse after being chased by a bear for over two miles from a clump of woods near her home in Furnace Run. She was disoriented and frozen, later able to talk saying the bear followed her closely until she collapsed.
