Two Frederick Countians hurt at same instant in separate accidents
Two Frederick County residents were injured in unrelated vehicle crashes Tuesday at nearly the same time. Dorothy Crawford, 67, of Thormont, was listed in fair condition at Frederick Memorial Hospital after striking a Potomac Edison utility pole and then a center-line cross, state police reported. A tractor trailer driver, Charlies Tibbs, 23, of Knoxville, lost control on U.S. 15 and rolled his truck, later listed as in satisfactory condition. Charges against Tibbs were pending.

Omega 7 Leader Found Guilty on Weapons Charges
A federal jury in Miami convicted Eduardo Azorena, alleged Omega 7 leader, of illegal weapons possession and conspiracy to manufacture and possess firearms. Co-defendant Milton Badin was found guilty of the conspiracy charge after a short deliberation.
