Leroy Love a 22 year old messenger for Adams Express confessed to the theft of an express package containing $5050 consigned January 18 by the treasury department to Citizens National Bank of Newcastle Pa. He returned $5377, hid money in a bathroom floor seam and in a trouser leg. Thumb impressions traced the crime and Love was among the last to submit prints. He spent part on jewelry for his fiancée. He is from Newcastle and the confession caused a sensation.
