Taneytown girl dies after plunge through pond ice

A 15-year-old Taneytown girl, Raismy Keesonbath, died after she and 14-year-old Gregory Haller fell through half inch ice on a pond off Roberts Mill Road while chasing a duck. Haller was rescued and treated for hypothermia. Raismy was pulled from the water after a long rescue, and died at Johns Hopkins Hospital around 3:30 a.m. Monday night into Tuesday morning.
