Safety seat program launched in Frederick County
The Frederick County Sheriff's Office started National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week with a new program placing safety seats in taxis and loaning seats to residents via the FMH Wellness Center. The initiative, funded by a federal grant and run with the Explorers, aims to boost seat use, reduce injuries, and involve local cab companies and the hospital in a shared system.
