Frederick County Dentists Promote Children’s Dental Health Month
February marks National Children’s Dental Health Month with a county program led by the Frederick County Health Department. About 40 dental staff educate in classes on nutrition brushing and fluoride while the Frederick Dental Society funds free care for roughly 100 low income children each February. Eligible kids call Jill Poole at 694-1041 for a preliminary screening, then receive X rays and free treatment with a participating dentist.
