Grand Jury In Session Next Week

Free Grossnickle Appointed In Planning Board Expansion

Boy Dodges Snowballs and Hits Truck in Street Collision
A six year old boy dodging snowballs ran into the rear wheels of a tractor trailer on North Bentz Street near Maple Avenue. The driver, Harry Campbell, 35, reported he did not see the child enter the wheel and left the scene briefly before police later notified him. Spielman was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital for a foot injury and released. No charges were filed. In a separate incident Harrison Middleton was slightly injured as a car carrying him collided with another on All Saints Street at South Market Street. James Altman, 18, was involved in the crash with Terry Palmer, 22. No charges were filed in that accident.

Frederick man Donald Charles Hackey, 28, faced seven charges after police say he broke into a city apartment on October 2 and assaulted two sisters ages 13 and 15. He was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on North Court Street with bond set at 36500.
