Soviet show canceled over political coverage on channel 1
Soviet TV cancels two episodes of Vzglyad after state broadcasting committee objects to political content. Host Alexander Lyubimov says Gostelradio ordered withholding following comments by Eduard Shevardnadze about quitting over shootings in Georgia.
