Odd Fellows vote to build nursing home in Frederick County

The International Order of Odd Fellows adopts plans for a $2 million single floor nursing home behind the North Market Street complex in Frederick. New Market District Gains National Historic Register Status

New Market becomes the third Frederick County district listed on the National Register of Historic Places after a two year Landmarks Foundation campaign. The historic district, aligned with the town’s boundaries, includes six notable buildings and follows the town’s Historic District Commission boundaries. Closures at Frederick Towne Mall Hit Haber’s and Tempo

New York LaGuardia blast kills and injures many
