Maryland Deaf School Raises Funds For Terrorist Victims Fund
Students and staff at the Maryland School for the Deaf collected 125 dollars for the Terrorist Victims Fund and two hundred for the children of those killed, following the September 11 attacks. The Alzheimer's Association Western Maryland Chapter and United Way sponsor monthly caregiver support groups across Frederick County. January meetings include morning sessions at the Frederick County Health Department and evening sessions at the Frederick County Department of Aging, with caregiving available by advance notice. Sunday meets at St. Catherine's Nursing Center in Emmitsburg. a new daytime group at 420 N Market St Frederick. and a Monday Men's Group at Sunrise of Frederick.
