A man, James Thomas Wood, 24, of Abingdon, confessed to killing Rev. Samual Nathaniel Booth, 55, at his trailer near the Christian Faith Tabernacle Church in Essex on Christmas Eve, saying he robbed the pastor of about 77 to 78 dollars and crack cocaine. Police say no drugs were found. Wood faces first degree murder and a bail review was set. About 50 congregants held a tearful memorial service.
