Virus linked to MS risk in Harvard study
Harvard researchers found women with high Epstein-Barr antibodies were about four times more likely to develop multiple sclerosis than those with low levels. The study analyzed blood samples from 62,433 nurses, with 144 MS cases, linking the common herpesvirus to MS but cautions remain about causality and measurement limits.
