Stone Of Scone Taken By Thief
London dec 25 thieves believed driven by Scottish nationalism removed the ancient Stone of Scone from Westminster Abbey. The 336 pound relic, central to coronations, rested under the throne and its removal damaged the coronation chair. Claims tied to Scottish covenant movement and home rule debates, with possible prankster motives also considered.
