Ski Roundtop owners withdraw road realignment proposal
Ski Roundtop owners Tuesday withdrew their plan to relocate 1300 feet of Crystal Fountain Road west of Annandale Road for a ski resort complex. Peyton P. Phillips, representing the developers denied access to about 500 acres, said the opposition and Planning Commission vote against the realignment rendered future action unlikely. The county commissioners hold final say after the Planning Board. An ad for a hearing on the proposal was being prepared, originally set for Jan. 6.
