Fairchild Receives State Grant for Employee Education
Fairchild Controls in Frederick and Germantown seeks a $15,000 state matching grant through the Maryland Department of Economic and Employment Development to fund tuition for 38 workers at Frederick Community College's Business and Technology Center. If approved, Fairchild will contribute about $15,000 and tailor courses in statistical control blueprint reading geometric dimensioning and NASA welding requirements to support its aerospace manufacturing shift.
