Two Wills Probated In Orphans Court Here
The wills of Mrs. Stelle Irene Wachter and Miss Alice Louise Taney were probated yesterday in the Orphans Court. Wachter died December 13 at 114 East Eighth Street Frederick, estate about $20,000. Taney died December 16 in Emmitsburg, executors named Katherine Taney Silverson and Clifford A. Taney Jr. Residues divide among the Taney children. Wachter estate allocates real estate, stock, and furnishings among her daughters. Separate notices cover other estates and a January 10 hearing for Ernest J. Smith. A state police ceremony honored Millard Lamb for bravery in rescuing an infant, with potential national recognition. Also reported is a holdup in Renton, New Jersey, at a local salesman’s home.
