Braddock Heights Immorality Claims Debunked by Commission
The commission, citing Dr Woodward of the Carnegie Institution, says Braddock Heights shows unusually high moral standards for a summer resort. Local residents deny claims of “charity girls” and pace the area as free from vice. The report describes supposed “charity girls” as youths aged 13 to 20 willing to have relations without pay, but notes some live at home or work in factories and deny accepting money.
