In Rockville Maryland Millstone of the Montgomery Iron and Steel Co was arrested on a charge of importing eight cases of whiskey from Maryland residents during the holiday season. The case cites a state law forbidding more than two quarts in a day as officers cite the alleged offense and Millstone is held on $50,000 bail pending trial. Police plan to deploy dogs in Baltimore to assist with enforcement while other reports note a project to install new street lights causing shopping disruption.
