Wisda Returns Home After Heart Transplant Journey

Kathleen Wisda recalls her husband Keith Wisda recovering from a heart transplant at MCV in Richmond after a long hospital stay. Doctors sought a suitable donor due to his height of 6 feet 2 inches and 200 pounds, with his Left Ventricular Assist Device supporting him post surgery. Christmas Eve ride-along seeks volunteers for shifts

Robbery attempt ends with robber shot by liquor store owner

In Hagerstown a would be armed robber, David Bannon Rogers, 37, wearing a ski mask, entered Stop N Shop Liquors on Md 60. He demanded money, and when owner Dennis Gigeous, 45, hid behind the counter, retrieved a handgun and fired. Rogers was shot in the upper leg and hand, treated at Washington County Hospital. He faces multiple charges including armed robbery and assault.
