Frederick lawyer jailed over California child support case
A Frederick lawyer, Charles Eugene Chisholm of Middletown, was sentenced to six months in Frederick County Adult Detention Center with a $10,000 purge bond after failing to pay $142,600 in child support. He sought to delay jail while appealing California orders, but Judge Herbert Rollins found the appeal a delay tactic. Monthly support was $500 per child plus $200 alimony. he did not pay for his 15 year old daughter and 5 year old son.
