Remsberg Genealogy Highlighted At Frederick Library
A recently deposited document at the Burr Artz Library in Frederick traces the Remsberg family in America from John George Remsberg born 1736 in Germany. Compiled by Bertha Ann Brenner Fleming, the volume updates earlier work and links the family to Frederick County clans such as Thomas, Coblentz and Routzahn. The 83 page record, partly handwritten and partly mimeographed, includes photos and notes on land, marriage and a long family history connected to Baden Germany.
